Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the demolition drive was carried out in the Parnewa and Arigam villages of Khansahib by teams of the Revenue Department and Jammu and Kashmir Police in the presence of the concerned revenue and police officials.
During the operation, authorities demolished four illegal properties, including four shops, a cowshed and a tile factory, allegedly constructed on encroached Khaicharai land by persons involved in NDPS-related cases.
